beginner course: FAMILIA ROMANA

Familia Romana only

This twelve-week course will allow you to acquire—or reacquire—the fundamentals of Latin through the highly effective Familia Romana method. Learning will be gradual and immersive, with a natural and accessible Latin suited to both absolute and false beginners.

Entirely conducted in Latin, the course will be based on a guided reading of Familia Romana, interspersed with interactive sequences. The instructor will regularly engage participants in spoken exercises to reinforce vocabulary and grammatical structures from previous chapters, ensuring deep and lasting retention.

Who is this course for? Absolute beginners, false beginners, middle and high school students, university students, Latin teachers wishing to explore the active method or develop their spoken Latin, history enthusiasts, history students, retirees who have forgotten most or all of their Latin.

Duration: 12 weeks, three hours per week (2 × 1h30)

Schedule: Sundays and Wednesdays, 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
